I think it would be great if a character could have a page like the actors, with appearances in multiple shows. It would be useful for crossovers and spin-offs (Arrowverse, The Fosters cast regularly guest starring in Good Trouble, ...). What do you think ?

It was proposed on numerous occasions before, shared character pages for crossing shows. Obviously it would've been awesome :)

No, that's a different thing. For example, instead of having https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/2293/the-flash-bartholomew-henry-barry-allen-the-flash, https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/268598/dcs-legends-of-tomorrow-barry-allen-the-flash and https://www.tvmaze.com/characters/478/arrow-barry-allen-the-flash we would have a single character page with the appearances in all relevant shows.

From what I could tell it is more likely that the idea is being considered :) At least there were no straight rejection :)

This does seem like the next logical step for expanding the show relations feature so my guess is it'll happen... sometime :)

I like the idea but just curious if it would have a minimum number of crossovers or is just once enough? I'm thinking of the single Magnum, PI / Murder She Wrote crossover but I'm sure there are lotsa examples of a single x-over in long running series vs the numerous examples from the Arrowverse. I don't care if it's just once or a certain number, just curious if there's been any discussion(s) on the subject.

I would hope the number wouldn't matter. If the character shows up in another show, then it would be listed on that character page.
The only place I can see a stumbling block would be famous folks appearing as themselves in multiple different drama and/or comedy shows. And there would have to be a way to exclude talk/chat shows.

I don't see a problem here, even if it's a Simpsons appearance, as long as the system allow to [optionally] set a different character image for each show :)
I think when it come to production we will have an opportunity to properly discuss this feature.

Fantastic that it is possible to discuss new developments on the site and that everyone can give their opinion on this. I also contribute every day to adding the lack of data and therefore like to see new functions.
