WB Reportedly Developing Dumbledore Show With Jude Law For HBO Max

When the time inevitably comes for Warner Bros. to reboot Harry Potter, the smartest way to differentiate the new take from the beloved movies would be to adapt it as a TV series. One season per book gives the story more time to breathe, and would keep the fans happy by including details from the novels that were left out to stop the big screen outings from becoming too dense and unwieldy.

Seems like a natural at some point, 7 books = 7 seasons @ 22 episodes per is 154 total episodes ... perfect for stream bingeing

If it's based in the HP books, why is Jude Law involved? He's a young Dumbledore from the Fantastic Beasts series... lol

No streaming show should be 22 episodes, not even broadcast TV should be more than 20 at this point, nobody can do a "full season" that doesn't drag anymore. Too much filler.

True but I was thinking, despite the headline, of a network series ... dunno why but I think it might be something ABC might try to snag as a Sunday night anchor and thereafter it moves to a streamer with, eventually, 150+ episodes available.
