News item for Taxi Driver 3

Hello, WatchingTV,

My name is LadyShelley, and I wanted to talk to you for a second about news items and sources. Your post regarding Taxi Driver was removed because the information is not from an approved source. Our goal with the news items is to be a good source of information for our users. That means using primary sources. (basically, information directly from the network as opposed to third-party news sites.)

In the case of this series, posting a press release from the SBS network would be the best option. I have removed the news item for now. If you find a press release with this info, you are welcome to repost it.

I understand, so it basically means that only English speaking countries are elligible for information to be uploaded.

Soompi's information is reliable though as it's one of the few websites (Part of Rakuten-Viki) that is actually covering Japanese, Chinese and Korean series for international viewers based on press releases of official websites, but there are barely any website in non-native countries that publish English press releases for viewers they don't care about as they are not their target.

Hey,

I assume this issue has been solved already given that CosmicHowl has approved your request, isn't it?

The problem is that I'm not an expert regarding US tv and given the huge requests we are receiving for new shows, we do not have time ourselves to fully investigate every request we are receiving. In your case, I had too many doubts (given that your request wasn't handled for a period) and providing ID's to a show that was already in our database.

It does help to provide us with more information in the comment section to judge a request. Preference to official sources as we do not consider IMDB as an official source.

I noticed the UK sources also have a different order than we do (albeit closer than the US listings)

Hi Aidan,

Not really to be frank and those shows are a complete disaster to handle as people will always adjust them to what they're thinking is right or what Wikipedia says :). There's no proper way to handle these.
