USA Network is shifted 1 hour in schedule

tnt wrote 5 years ago: 1

There's actually something weird going on. At first there was a non-existing conflict at 21:00 between https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/1508706/suits-8x06-cats-ballet-harvey-specter and https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/1498748/the-sinner-2x04-part-iv. The former is airing 21:00 and the latter at 22:00, and both episodes had the correct airtime at the moment. And all USA Network shows are shifted +1 hour (Suits is shown at 22:00 and Sinner at 23:00). Other GMT -5 networks are displayed correctly.

It appears that the bug is only affecting Wednesday and Thursday. The next week is showing the same non-existing conflict between Suits and The Sinner.

I noticed that too with The Sinner :O

Details: It begins on August 21. Miz and Mrs is showing correctly, at 22:00. However, the next scheduled episode (Chrisley Knows Best, 22:30) is shown at 23:30. Then everything is shifted +1 hour, up to the Monday, Aug 27. Then there's a WWE episode, which is shown correctly at 20:00, and the Tuesday episodes are also fine. And on Wednesday there's this conflict Suits/Sinner.

No clue, just spitballin' ... is there a bug/issue that is triggering an early application of daylight savings time on these networks and/or schedule?

It would've affected all shows on the network, not the random ones. Also, other GMT -5 network's listings are perfectly fine.

I am sure David and Jan will be able to fix this mystery :)

Should be fixed now!

It simply affected all shows that had been edited recently.

Sorry, misspoke, meant standard time.

I always get it mixed up calling the winter months DST. Just wish we could dump the whole time change thing once and for all and stick to the same time year round.
