Toggle 12/24 hour clock in settings please.
I was just looking for a way to do the very same thing. If possible, it would be GREAT to be able to switch to the 12 hour clock instead of 24.

Guys, it has already been determined to stick to the 24 hour clock as it is UTC (Universal time). We do not see a 12 hour clock as an advantage and will more likely cause more errors.
I don't see the huge issue with making it an option to be honest. If it has been "decided" already then it seems kind of short sided in my opinion
This has nothing to do with being short sided, but for now their is a huge workload for David & Jan and we spoke about this feature before with some other guys, but decided that it is not an improvement for TVMaze and I am afraid to say that there are many people who don't even known what AM/PM is.
What's the issue with UTC?

I totally agree.
UTC is clear for everyone.
Also for people who don't understand the difference between AM/PM
I think one of the problems with some not all that want the AM/PM time is they don't know the 24 Hour clock very well and get tired of counting out the time on their fingers to determine what time to use? Start with 12 if it is 8 PM add the number together to get 20 or 20:00 it's just that easy!
I've worked as a civilian in the military and understand multiple clocks and time zones. Simply implementing the option in profiles should not be difficult. Some prefer it. If nobody wants to implement it; that’s perfectly fine. Also maybe make a poll asking what people want the most instead of having to read every suggested feature in the forums.
Yeah, the default time format and the format used for data entry will always be 24-hour.
Displaying the times in 12-hour format could be an option though. I'll add that to the Pending Features list for voting when we have time to handle suggestions again.
Are you serious? It's a no brainer to have time as 12 hour am/pm. I think someone has it backwards, UTC is not clear to everyone but 12 hr - AMP/PM is. Think back when you learned to tell time. Unless you were born in the military you most likely never learned to tell time in Military time. I have never seen any tv listing program or going back to printed media showing time in military time. If your developers can't figure out how to make a user profile option and display it as preferred, you really do need new developers.

Because "everyone" is from USA?
Many countries uses 24-hour clocks, without even having heard of the expression "military time".

Or perhaps you need to widen your eyes and look beyond the USA........ The vast majority of nations are using a 24 hour clock.....

Fair point.

You heard him David. Pack your bags.
@hadone326. It's not about not knowing, it's about prioritization and time.
cheers,
Jan
I'll just leave this one here: https://www.tvmaze.com/threads/3609/display-airtimes-in-12-hour-format-ampm. If you vote for it sufficiently, my replacement can work on it :)

I know that "military time" it's something so complex that you won't be able to gain this knowledge in less than 5 years ....
Why you are calling that military time ? this is standard time that is used in MOST countries....
And if google for you does not work - translation between "your time" and "military time" is as complex as:
- if "military time" is less or equal 12 -> you treat it as AM
- if "military time" is greater than 12 -> subtract from it 12 and it's your PM (20 = 20-12 = 8 PM)
Conversion from "your time" to "military time" is:
- if you have AM -> it's the same in military time
- if you have PM -> hour + 12 = military time (1PM = 1+12 = 13)
I know - this requires super complex calculation (adding or subtracting 12) -> but after few years of training you will get it - TRUST ME !!!!
