ABC had a programming bloodbath last week as they announced several canceled shows late last Friday. No real surprises on what was ended, though a bit of a shock For the People was renewed. The only currently airing program still undecided is Agents of SHIELD, not sure Disney can justify another season with fewer than 2 million viewers.

CBS announced renewals for its comedies and a few drama holdouts last week. Kevin Can Wait was the surprise cancellation, Elementary apparently gets good enough ratings for a summer show to earn another season. The only currently airing shows still undecided are Code Black and Ransom, it's hard to see how Ransom is going to get more air time even as a summer show.

FOX renewed Lethal Weapon last week, along with the news of casting a new character to replace Clayne Crawford's Martin Riggs. Time will tell if the series can survive. Gotham also got good renewal news and will get a final season. Lucifer was not so lucky and will end after this season. Still no word on LA To Vegas or Ghosted, neither show is on the fall schedule which does not bode well. There is schedule room for the two comedies after football ends, but FOX has not confirmed the status for either show yet.

The CW renewed iZombie for another year last week. And not to be outdone in the controversy department, the network announced it was not picking up Supernatural spin-off Wayward Sisters.

Elementary apparently makes CBS money before it even airs. Though they would never do it, they could continue to make the show and not have it air on CBS and it would still be profitable.
Ghosted is pretty much toast. LA to Vegas I think has a shot at another short, mid-season pick-up. YMMV
