Love how the olds are demanding to see more little people for their own amusement. Uhhhhhh we don't really laugh at little people's expense anymore in 20-mfin-24, ya jerks.
This show is a lot of fun.
It's a fun show. I loved the original movie, loving this also so far.
Boomer snowflakes are just too loud: "Ooooh, it's not exactly the same as a movie I misremember from when I was a kid, boo-hooo!" :D
Apparently I'm the only one who liked it? I know nothing of Time Bandits in any form and I thought this was a cute show.
Full of modern clichés like a black bandit and a Chinese bandit for no apparent reason except to meet diversity quotas, and for some reason their leader is a Jewish American woman (Kudrow)? This is why none of my friends have any interest watching this or any other reboots of their favorite movies.
Tries to be funny but it isn't.
And there are no midgets in this version because casting midgets might be seen as offensive??? That's what threw me the most and why this is doomed to be a failure.
Jemaine Clement is always a pleasure at least. But I don't think he can save it.
Watch the original Time Bandits and protest this travesty. And cancel AppleTV+.
Terrible doesn't even begin to describe this travesty of a classic movie. No Dwarves, no funny puns in the Monty Python style, some obnoxious child in the lead, all in all a total disaster from the start. The writers really have just run out of good ideas. Bin it.
