Best episode since season 1?
There will not be a new Kirk show after Pike`s 5 year mission ends, they are planning to tie the ending of a Strange New Worlds to a Star Trek Original Series.
Anyone else spotted this easter egg?: In each of the four outside/establishing shots of the Enterprise entangled in the scavanger ships vines, there was a certain blue police box visible slightly above the portside nacelle...
that would be so cool!, and he Kirk's First lesson about being in Command... helped shape him we know him as... not sure if they would do Spinoff of the series or continue on, once Pike is... 5-7 years for Pike not every day u get to know someones End in a series an see how they get to there.. and we have that whole Gorn hybrid situation they might Sneak in.. if they gonna Keep to Canon... or not
I loved this episode, and watching Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Scotty and Chapel together again on tv was fantastic. I really hope that after Pike's 5 year mission ends they continue with Kirk's 5 year mission as he takes over from Pike! All fingers and toes crossed :)
