Underrrated as fuck. This was actually not bad.
Thanks for the clarification - i misread the announce and am now VERY HAPPY that there's two more seasons to flesh this out and finish it up.. Never have I been so happy to be so wrong!
Ok reality/documentary type theme. Again I did not see that coming but I should've. Musical - check, Zobmies - check, Who done it - check. Animation - check. Vampires not yet, Galdiator/arena type theme, not yet. Dogs/cats/animal theme not yet. Super heroes/powers - not yet, Dinausorors - not yet. What else?
Babylon 5 and BSG both had similar episodes; although B5's was probably much more alike.
This is not a last season of SNW, there will be five seasons officialy confirmed, so we are like now on the halfway of the series.
unfortunately - with this being the last season of the series, I fear that all the creative fluff they were playing with in the hopes of a continuing series to fall back on are going to fall a lot flatter than expected because .. this is their swan song ...
I do truly hope they wrap things up cleanly - coz this platform has been one of the best Trek series in a while .. so much so that I would be happy if they did a TOS reboot (yes I said it) - especially with more of a gorn focus coz the gorn in this series were wot i had always hoped and expected them to be..
You're probably thinking of "Final Cut" of the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, ep 2x08.
Thought it was the best episode of a so far mixed bag of a season. Last week's with Kirk and the scavenger humans is the second best of the season so far.
They be playin too much this year. I want the serious stuff like these past two have been.
I think the documentary format was so-so. I swear I've seen it before, maybe Babylon 5? But I like that it basically directly addresses the disingenuous people on Reddit etc. who say Starfleet is just as bad as an empire. Like, you clearly have your head somewhere dark if you can't see the very real behavioral differences
I couldn't wait for this episode to be over and I was tempted to fast forward a few times
