Mein got. That “Guest cast” list on this page is just pure meta meme material.

It was printed on the vial that Carol got. She said she was looking for heroin to hide that she was getting that instead...

Ahh, thanks much for clarifying that for me, much appreciated :-)

A bit like in episode 3, where Zosia answered that they all didn't get drunk just because she drank some alcohol, etc.

The fly from Breaking Bad's middle episode had a small cameo in the beginning above the trash can in Paraguay. I love me some good cameo's!

The signal that came to Earth wasn't interactive, it was just a formulation for RNA to re-code human DNA and somehow make their brains all part of a giant mesh network, sort of Borg-like, all nodes used in processing. Which is to say, there isn't a "central" hive, they are all part of the hive, and its pretty "evenly" distributed across the surface of the earth

It didn't work here but I think Carol is on the right track - maybe drugs can be used to put the brain into an altered state and at least temporarily break its ability to communicate with others

ok so at the end of the episode she basically crashed the system cause Zosia passed out after, the shock was severe

In light of this episode, question is. If one of them gets drunk due alcohol in take, does this mean that only that person gets drunk and not the entire hive? If yes then one way to momentarily separate an individual from the hive is to apply body-induced drugs (Just like what Carol did in this episode) or posssibly drink alcohol which would have a similar effect since it could release an individual's inhibition and possibly express their individuality even for a shor period of time when one is not sober.

Yeah, that's how Molari subdued his parasite in Babylon 5. Other sci-fi tropes related to this: Pain, extreme emotions (Star Trek), and pre-conditioning to resist being taken over, like in (New)Doctor Who versus the Cybermen, and interfering with the connection to the rest of the collective, like in Star Trek: Voyager.
