Katherine Barrell

Canadian-born Katherine Barrell studied at the prestigious George Brown Classical Theatre School before embarking on her professional career. Having appeared on numerous television shows, Barrell is best known for playing the popular character Officer Nicole Haught in the SyFy drama "Wynonna Earp," a role that has inspired fans to launch the prominent social media hashtag #wayhaught. Her feature film credits include Universal's The Scarehouse, Christopher Branch's Definition of Fear, and the indie film Girls' Night Out. Having studied at Groundlings in Los Angeles, Barrell also has a strong love for comedy. She starred as the lead of the Netflix film My Ex-Ex, recurred on Catherine Reitman's comedy Workin' Momsand she produced and starred in the critically acclaimed comedy short Issues, which was subsequently optioned as a television series. In addition, Barrell wrote, directed and produced the short Cannonballand is in development on the television half hour comedy "The Officiants."
