Kareem Malcolm was born in Savanna-la-Mar, Jamaica. At the age of 4 he and his brother moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada with their mother and spent most of his life living in the Greater Toronto Area. Kareem was drawn to sports and played basketball from 7th grade through university. After being recruited to play basketball for Sheridan College and the University of Guelph, Kareem graduated with a Business Administration Diploma and a Sociology Degree. After he graduated in 2016, Kareem moved to Vancouver, British Columbia. He worked in finance full time his first year in Vancouver, then decided to pursue acting as it has always drawn his interest.
