Originally from Banff, Alberta, Juan Riedinger moved to Vancouver in 2008 to pursue acting. Shortly after, he landed a recurring role in Showcase's Godiva's and a supporting lead in Shred alongside Tom Green. He has since guest-starred in such series as Smallville, Bionic Woman, Continuum and the USA Network's Covert Affairs, alongside Piper Perabo and Manolo Cardona. Juan can also be seen as Carlos Lehder in the Netflix original series, Narcos, shot on location in Colombia.
His role in the independent film Zero Hour won him two Best Actor awards at festivals in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Other feature film roles include a supporting role in Diablo Cody's Jennifer's Body opposite Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried and Adam Brody and the lead role as the serial killer, Grey in On a Dark and Stormy Night. He also appeared in Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem as the ill-fated stoner, Scotty, and in Black Christmas as the bitter and fatalistic morgue attendant. He also appeared opposite Jennifer Connelly in The Day the Earth Stood Still.
