Deborah "Debbie" Lee Carrington was born in San Jose, California. She attended the University of California-Davis and after time off to start her acting career eventually earned a degree in early childhood development. Carrington is perhaps best known for her roles in the original Total Recall as part of the Martian rebels and in Star Wars as an ewok.
