Goran Višnjić was born in a beautiful town on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. His mother worked at a local food market, and his father was a bus driver. Goran Višnjić had his acting debut and first professional theater role right after graduation. He took part in several theater productions before he was cast in Hamlet, becoming the youngest Croatian actor to ever play that role.
