Jon Thoday is a British television executive, producer, and talent manager best known as the co-founder and co-executive chairman of Avalon, the production and talent-management company behind Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Through Avalon, Thoday has been associated with major comedy and entertainment projects including Taskmaster, Not Going Out, Catastrophe, TV Burp, Spitting Image, Breeders, and Workaholics. He is also credited as an executive producer on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and as a producer of the stage musical Operation Mincemeat.
