Juan Carlos Velis

Juan Carlos' acting career started at the age of three on television in his native El Salvador. When he was eight years old, he made his film debut in Barco de Papel (Paper Boat), a film that represented El Salvador at the II International Film Festival of Peru, for which he received critical acclaim from the Salvadorean Film Critics' Association and The Latin American Press. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the School of Dramatic Art at the University of Windsor. He has worked in theatres across Canada and the United States. He regularly works in commercials, print, and voice. Carlos is a founding member and serves as Artistic Director and Executive Producer of the Acropolis Theatre Company, which produces the annual: "Shakespeare on the Thames Theatre Festival" in London.
