Ewan McGregor is a Scottish actor best known for portraying the young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. He starred opposite Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge. He appeared in other movies such as Jack the Giant Slayer and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. He was born in Perth, Scotland. His father and mother are retired teachers. He moved to London when he was 18 years old to study Drama.
