The series "Z Nation" has 15 Episodes in Season 3 Not 14 Episodes like we show. The 1st Episode for Season 3 was a 2-part Episode so it needs to be corrected to read No Mercy, Part 1 at 21:00 and No Mercy, Part 2 at 22:00 and then all other episodes after need to be renumbered please? Before anyone asks the question the answer is yes the credits rolled at the end of Part 1 and then ran again at the start of Part 2. - http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/38/z-nation/episodes

SyFy considers it one episode on their webpage. iTunes also sell it as 1 episode and I know it aired on Space as a single episode. So it's 1 episode, imo.

Just because whatever tv schedule you favor today list it on 2 slots doesn't make it so.

This is now done - with episode summaries. Someone bizarrely added the new show, whilst keeping the current guide running as well. The guide they created had cast listed incorrectly, episode runtimes added incorrectly and no summaries. So I've fixed all this and deleted the episodes from the old listing.

On-screen is the highest source, so if what JAGUARGDOG said is true and the credits rolled in both parts then according to the policy it is 2 episodes;

"•If there is a break between the two parts, two separate episodes should be created.

Examples of a break are credits or titles appearing on screen for a second time; or a voice-over introducing the second part."

It have all the credits in the first part of the episode, around 15min in.

This approach though does present a problem, when a network orders a season of a show and publically announces a specific number of episodes for that season in this case; 15, tvmaze will have the season showing as having 15 episodes ordered but only 14 episodes will be listed so it will always appear that there is one episode is missing.

It's a really common way of handling double episodes from a studio/network point, tho.

if you produce two hours of TV instead of one you'll want more money to do so. So you end up with 2 production numbers, for a single episode.
