The premiere TV broadcast is the one that should be used when there's conflicts.

SyFy says it's one episode; http://www.syfy.com/znation/episodes

It only have a single director and there's nothing to indicate it wouldn't be a single episode. In fact, the only place I can find not treating it as one is Ron's favorite source, zap2ip, and we all know how accurate they are..

I just downloaded the official broadcast version and it has only one credit block and no break, so to keep it as ONE episode should be correct.

Not trying to change your mind/policy but just tossing in a "IMHO" ... in many/most cases the 'double episode' is only treated as a single that one time to kick off the season. In reruns & syndication they are broken down into two separate episodes with 2 production numbers ... I may be crazy (no comments pls! ;-) but 2 production numbers to me means two episodes. ymmv

Ron your link to the NBC site no longer works (it looks like NBC removed it). I tried looking at their schedule to confirm your name change, however the schedule only goes out to Dec. 17. Do you have another link?

WOW, you are correct it went off line for some reason that is so weird as I just looked at it 2 Hours ago? Either it is not functioning now or they took it down for some reason and there is no other link right now. I will keep checking and if it comes up again I will copy and paste the news release this time, sorry.

If you Google the MIA URL like

there will be, sometimes, a link near the end of the URL called " - Cached " that _may_ have the info you want.

An alternate that goes back in some cases to the 1990s is https://archive.org/ (also a great source for public domain movies, TV shows, OTR and such) but, I think, waits 6 months before making pages available.

OK reading this, I'm not sure what the name should be. The "NBC's New Year's Eve" reads more as a general statement of the line-up for the night, not an actual program name. Also the blurb mentions two different shows, so I think it needs to stay the way it is for right now until we get a clearer picture from NBC what they plan call the shows they air that night.

It's because they air 2 shows on New Years Eve the other is "NBC's New Year's Eve Game Night with Andy Cohen".
