1. I don't think Jeff Rose is the same person as Dr Jeff Rose

Those two episodes are listed here as specials. That's how they (Discovery/Science/Travel/etc) often do, air specials, and if successful, they turn them into a series.

I suppose you can go that way but those 2 episodes were originally a new series back in March/April 2016 ... I don't know why they didn't just call the new show season 2 rather than trying a reboot with a new 'hunter' and scrubbing all reference to the original ... your db, your call but IMHO it's 2 different series with the same name ymmv

This is the cast for Season 2 Episode 5, not episode 6. They were given on screen credits at the end of Episode 6 by mistake! It wasn't until after I added these names that I realized none of these guests actually appeared in this episode.
