This show "MotorWeek" airs NEW Episodes only on Velocity TV in the U.S.. It normally airs on Tuesdays at 19:30 PM yet someone has an episode scheduled to air tonight, Friday at 19:30. I looked at the TV listing for Velocity and this show is not even scheduled to air today at all New or Repeat. I see that whoever added this episode that is NOT airing today also added in 9 More Episodes after tonight. Can you please ask this member where they are getting their Information from please so I can double check the other Episodes since it does not air tonight other Episodes and dates could also be wrong as well? Velocity TV's daily scheduled only shows information for 2 weeks so if there is another place to find episode information that is Correct I wish to know where it is please? If they are using zap2it.com's listing of future Episodes they are obviously wrong about today airing any episodes? - http://tvschedule.zap2it.com/tv/motorweek/episode-guide/EP00002960?aid=tvschedule You can only trust this site so far before their information gets messed up, besides that sometimes the airdates are NOT U.S. airdates but airdates from another Country where it also airs but they do not spell that out because from doing this for almost 20 years now I know for a fact that this is true.
According to Velocity TV's schedule the next new episode scheduled to air of this show is this one "Fiat 124 Spider" on Tuesday at 19:30 in it's regular timeslot NOT Friday - http://www.velocity.com/schedule/ which we show aired on 16 September and so does zap2it show that as well both are wrong. Please correct the date of this episode to from 16 September to 23 September and also the date of this episode that we & zap2it both show airs tonight that really does not air until Tuesday 4 October at 19:30 "Mazda CX9". I believe this proves that zap2it's listing is wrong for Velocity and the dates are for a Foreign Country! All the other episodes will most likely also air on Tuesdays but will they air in the same order?
Thank you very much and sorry I was so long winded but I needed to prove a point (looks like padding stats again to me), Ron.

I think I fixed it now, could you take another quick look and tell me if it is correct now ?

thx
Juan

I suspect that what is happening with Motorweek is a misunderstanding of the show's true origins. New episodes actually don't premier on Velocity - they premier on PBS stations. Maryland Public Broadcasting makes the show available to PBS stations over a week before they premier on Velocity. Similar to the way that Charlie Rose is aired first on PBS stations and then played on Bloomberg after it has aired on PBS. PBS stations have the freedom (as with many PBS shows) to insert it into their schedule as they see fit. My station, for example, will air the Fiat Spider episode tomorrow morning (Saturday) - while Velocity doesn't air it until Tuesday. The Minneapolis PBS station actually shows it the day it is made available to air - 9/16

It does bring up an interesting question, though. Just like Charlie Rose - the original airing is always on PBS stations - with the cable channel airing it only after it has been made available to PBS stations. Should PBS be the network that is listed here? And if so - what time? The original date it is made available to PBS stations to air (as the large market PBS stations seem to do)? If so - then the air date for the above example would be last Friday night as it is the first US premier of the episode. For what it's worth - TVDB follows the convention of using the date it is made available to air (and when the large market PBS stations air it)

@JAGUARDOG - I'm not sure if you read my reply to you which contained more information

You can find more upcoming episodes here (click Upcoming, if you then search for the show, it will display up until October 21st, if instead you click on each date, you'll see episodes going all the way until December).

P.S I have not checked whether the entered dates are correct
