Nick News was revived in 2020 with 2 one-hour long specials. Then on 4/17/21 they switched to a regular season/episode format. http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/nick-news/listings/

I don't think that's a good idea, as these two specials in particular are not part of Paramount's one-hour episodes.

In short, Netflix ordered two more sequels, so the project became a series consisting of films (as was already the case with "Enola Holmes" and other purely Netflix franchises, "The Babysitter", for example).
