Same executive producer though (Robert Redford).

BTW, why does it say "Based on the Novel of" @ Tony Hillerman if it isn't considered to be?

the same way the Sherlock series is "Based on the stories of Sir Author Conan Doyle". :) Leaphorn and Chee are still Hillerman's creations even if they are telling more original-ish stories with them.

This new show Dark Winds, is using the characters and settings, but is a completely original story they are telling, It's not based on any of the books (Think the recent BBC Sherlock series)

it is based on the novel 'Listening Woman'

Only loosely. :) (very loosely)

I read the novel some years ago and saw only two episodes of the series so far. But both the armored truck heist/helicopter search and murders of the man and girl are taken straight from the book. Yes, this is not a direct adaptation, but neither is a completely original story.

Anyway, I'm glad we agree that there should be no relation between Skinwalkers and Dark Winds.

Considering Jim Chee isn't even in the book, that Leaphorn and Emma never had any kids, there was no subplot with the pregnant girl, Chee was never in the FBI (he only applied), Chee is the more spiritual of the two and is trying to live in two worlds while Leaphorn is more of a realist ... it's a very loose adaptation. :)

(and looking ahead at the descriptions for the remaining episodes, it doesn't look like they follow the resolution from the book either.) This is much more of a rough adaptation the same way Sherlock "adapted" the Bruce Partington Plans story. The basic idea is there, but not much else.

Hi there! So two things:
1) I added season two posters to the season 1 gallery of stranger things. Also, their format looks a little weird to me :/ Could someone please delete them? https://www.tvmaze.com/seasons/9601/stranger-things-season-1/gallery
2) What's the script for spoiler text? Is it the same as on disqus? < spoiler >?

I accidentally added two 'guest staring' characters to an episode they weren't in. Can someone please remove Gabriel and Antoinette?
