Hmmm doesn't make much sense to have them as two shows but like Shelley said we don't rewrite history so if that is how they originally was listed i would keep that and add the new season as season 3 of the original show and leave a note on the show explaining why season is listed as a separate show. Looks weird i know but think that would be the best solution while still following policy.

We just changed it to year based as the official site also has no seasons, sorry.

But since Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is already up as a separate series, it doesn't make much sense to write S01-S09 as years...

Maybe like that?

S01 Season 2004

S02 Season 2005

S09 Season 2012

If the official site doesn't list the show in seasons it wouldn't make sense that we did hence it being yearbased. Shows can only be listed in either seasons or yearbased so no it can't be listed as both.

Similiar thing happened with BBC's Waterloo Road, originally the new/rebooted series came out as Series 1, somehow through this first series airing, it got moved to series 11 of the existing show. On this occasion we allowed it as the network had made the move. Id suggest this is the same.

Hello, this series: https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/45301/hjerte-til-hjerte

Has been renewed recently, and they're calling the newest season the third season (https://tv.nrk.no/serie/hjerte-til-hjerte). But when the "second season" came out 14 years ago, it was listed as a separate show from the original series and considered a spin-off/reboot.

The "second season" is listed on TVMaze as a separate entry (https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/45306/hjerte-til-hjerte-spelet), but now the network has listed all three total seasons as one series on their website, ergo. season 1 - 2 - 3. But like I said, the second "season" was never considered a second season before now, but rather as a reboot of the series.

Should I list the third season as the third season in the original entry and leave season 2 empty or should I just combine them all into one series? Most other tv-websites (IMDb, thetvdb.com, etc.) have just combined them into one entry.

I say we list it as one show like we did with Waterloo Road,e everything else looks ugly to me :)

Trying to request the show A Fox in Space, when entering Tvdb and IMDb ids, they show up as “these ids are already taken”, but I haven’t been able to find them on the website, and the api is returning as null

tvdb - 400580

imbd - tt6499450
