I don't understand this.

Some shows like stranger things have a runtime but some shows like russian doll or ratched don't have a runtime. I mean if all these shows are on a web channel why do some have runtime and some don't.

For some shows I can't add a runtime and you guys say that it's because it is from a web channel like Netflix and every episode has different time so why does shows like stranger things and sex education does have a runtime?

@Akaksm2020

 Also made for tv mini-series type movies such as Stephen Kings "Storm of the Century", "The Golden Years", and of course "Rose Red" :), The Gourmet Detective Mysteries which run as made for tv movies that have 2 or more movie length episodes. Another example would be "The Odyssey" which aired in 2 parts and was made for tv.

Because some users think very highly of themselves and prefer to edit whatever they can instead of thinking or asking first. We can't constantly monitor every single one of 10'508 (atm) shows in our database for changes. If you know such shows - report them here, we will verify and correct if necessary.

Some shows have a fixed runtime. Like kids animated shows for example, with every episode of the same length (e.g. https://www.netflix.com/title/80225085). Some have discrepancies like 1-2 minutes, which could be ignored (e.g. https://www.netflix.com/title/80020540). When the discrepancy between the shortest and longest episode is more than 15% the term "default runtime" doesn't make any sense anymore. For example, currently, the shortest episode of Stranger Things is 42 minutes, the longest is 78. What default runtime this show should have? What if in the next season they release another episode 32 or 94 minutes long?

The Premiere dates that are listed on shows like Richie Rich are the dates that Netflix first made the season available for viewing. Thus the entire season would have the same date.

The user was talking about scheduled days, which this show shouldn't have.
If episodes don't usually premiere on the same day(s), such as yearly events or Web Channels dumping an entire season at once, this property must be left empty.

There should not be any specific scheduled days as it premiered on Netflix.

I think they mean the average runtime of that show.

The property is not called average runtime, it is the default.

This means its value will be substituted by default to every new episode you're adding to the show. So when every episode has a different length, having the default does not make much sense. When it's not set, the system will substitute the length of the previous episode, which could be more helpful.

seems this is a new thing made by @david , it also says ~ (average) before the runtime :)

It doesn't on mobile, which I guess is where the confusion came from. Seems a bit odd for The One Show since episodes were primarily 30 minutes for years, it's only in more recent years that the runtime has fluctuated

I think the calculation is done for every web channel show.

The One Show isn't a web show :)
