Brooklyn Nine-Nine cancelled by Fox

The most recent episode in particular was the funniest thing I've seen in years. Here is hoping some other network like Hulu picks it up.

That one stings a little. Hopefully it will be picked up by another network.

The big rumor is that Hulu is likely to pick it up, with Netflix, NBC and TBS also considering it. I think it'd fit well on NBC since it's a Universal production and it's got the SNL link in Andy Samberg... and TBS has recently started airing it in syndication so it's already on the network and has a similar feel to the other TBS shows. I'd personally rather it not be Hulu because I don't need a third subscription, but anywhere is better than nowhere.

One of the rare few comedies, which are not following a family of retards ))

Fingers crossed for Hulu pickup.

Speaking of family of retards, Fox axed The Mick too! (Haha couldn't resist)

Lucifer was also axed. So is Exorcist (for realsies this time). Someone at Fox is really having one of those days...

Makes me wonder what's going on at Fox, seems like they're trying to clean house, cancelled 5 shows in 2 days... leaving the only the "adult animation" and picking up Last Man Standing for their comedies, unless Ghost and LA to Vegas somehow get renewed. I expected Ghosted to be cancelled soon even though they're supposed to resume the episodes in the US in the summer. It started airing in New Zealand but after one episode, they stopped as well.

I guess the two episodes of Lucifer filmed for s3 that were going to be held off and thrown into season 4 will just end up being bonus episodes on the s3 DVD/BD releases if stays cancelled.

Yeah it's a bloodbath

Alex, Inc, Great News, Quantico, Designated Survivor, The Exorcist, Lucifer, The Brave, Taken, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mick, Last Man on Earth

All cancelled.

I'm surprised they're still holding on to Lethal Weapon (with all the behind the scenes mess) and Gotham (low ratings).

Hulu has passed on B99 and in fact will end it's streaming at the end of the season. Netflix has also apparently said thanks but no thanks. It's down to TBS or NBC now ...

And uncancelled! NBC swoops in and saves it, giving it a 13-episode 6th season.
