BTW, Japanese anime sometimes keeps episode numbering without resetting them (i.e. Solo Leveling) so while there's obvious season 2 with new subtitle, they may still continue including next episode number (i.e. #13) in front of title, instead of restarting from 1. So both cases exist, but those kind of differences can be seen on their site.

For example Wind Breaker (https://wb-anime.net/) has episode 1-25 (ep 1-13 for S1, and 14-25 for S2) on official site and in the anime itself, but there are clearly two seasons and each has its own poster and even season 1 and 2 on official site despite episodes being grouped.

In US, I think every anime is split into seasons (probably to more easily group it on DVD releases or something), even though there is 1 season only, so just FYI to be aware of this ;))

Looks like that Claudia Karavan is also listed as a 2025 episode on the shows webpage, so that's probably where the mistake came from

The ABC has frequently, in fact, I think always, added repeat episodes to the current season on iView. Given that I watch the show & have done so for decades, I usually spot the repeats even if the title has been slightly altered. Over the years there have been some "update" episodes ... personally I don't count these as repeats & the ABC has always indicated them as such.

June 21st was Easter Monday which explains the repeat episode. No idea why "Making a Scene" was repeated on July 21st.

If you want I can unsync this show from tvdb, sounds like you have a better handle on it than we do :)

That's up to you and/or the TVMaze mods. What I find surprising is why would TVMaze consider TheTVDB, IMDB & other such sites as "masters" ... AND Visa-Versa, without doing so sort of validation? Having said that, perhaps that already happens but failed in this case ... I don't know.

Of course another fix would be to allow repeat episodes to be listed on the shows webpage ... particularly if the episode is also listed on the networks webpage for the show. Personally I don't have a issue with that as long as there is a option to add a "repeat" flag.

We only ever import from 2 places

The futon critic, which is a place that list press releases from all the American networks and streamers, so you can find all things USA and global streaming in one place without having to check 15 places or worry about geo-blocking. 

We also import some things from TVdb, more restrictively, of course. And it's mainly for shows that are not maintained regularly by any of our editors. Right now we have about ~19,000 shows listed that are still running and we obviously don't have the manpower to maintain all of those properly

Dont be shy about making any changes to edits I've made. 

It looks like my edits come from one the scripts we use to sync against press releases. They arent' always correct or fully updated, so the wrong info gets through every now and then without me noticing.

As for making comments on the episodes about wrong info or edits that should happen you should know that most of the edits go through other tools and I don't visit the episode pages and therefore never read them. So using the edit requests thread or leaving a note here on my talk page is better.

So just go ahead and make any changes necessary and call me an idiot when I get it wrong, that'll help with adjusting the tools :)

Aidan, thanks for your advise. I don't believe I have access to the "scripts" you use. I have enough to just edit what I do. I wish my time allowed for more. It's enjoyable to be a TVmazer.

I grant you the same privilege to call me an idiot when necessary. 😃
