It does seem I might have been wrong to ask you change it to "years" instead of "seasons"... TVDb not withstanding, (we all know they just put things up as easily as possible and are often times just plain wrong), and that we now have to be extra diligent to keep things correct and accountable to the big boys at Kodi, so that we match up with the all the other data sources that refer to the shows using seasons not years...

Like I said, I was trying to make it easier for you to put up something that was consistent with the years as you chose to list it... but in reality we should revamp it to follow the true airings...

Just found this message, I agree with Pesky. Jeopardys official site and their press kits have always listed the each season of the show as from September to July since the show came back on the air with Alex Trebec as the host. Their has been no changes to the seasons other than some with more or some with less episodes like this year with the Covid affecting show production. The most current seasons can not be changed to the Season format of September to July until all the earlier seasons are set that way because the season year would be off on the later seasons. They are all 100 percent accurate to Jepardy's official website and press kits up to the 2001 season which I am currently adding in contestants and the dates they played. I want to get all the contestents for every season entered first then go back and add in where the contestants are from and what their professions were at the time.

No not at this point, it is just time consuming which is no problem since I do it while watching tv anyways. I try to add no more than 10 episodes of the old shows then10 to reload the episode list to check that the dates and episode numbers are correct. I have caught several mistakes of mine by doing a double check that way. It helps having 12 gig of ram since a lot of the time I will have 10 to 12 tabs open at one time. I currently have over 6 Jeopardy tabs open between the ones I am working on here and Jeopardys official site and their crew information etc.
