CBS will take its Super Bowl win even though the ratings were down a little more than two ratings points over last year. And in Super Bowl tradition, the network premiered The Equalizer following the game. Nothing can really be read into those numbers, the trick will be how many people continue to follow the show on Sunday night without the help. Clarice also premiered last week to middling numbers. Not sure what the network thought, scheduling a crime-thriller after its Thursday light comedy block, and apparently viewers didn't get it, either. B Positive returned after a few weeks off up at tenth. Chances are, if it can hold those numbers, it will be renewed.

The CW premiered the final season of Black Lightning last week down a tenth from its premiere last season, but about even with where it ended up at the end of the last season. Walker shed another two hundred thousand viewers. Unlike every other network, The CW ran original programming against the Super Bowl with Batwoman and Charmed both suffering for it with a 0.0 rating.
