CBS announced a flurry of renewals last week. NCIS, Bull, SWAT, Magnum PI, and Blue Bloods were all renewed for another season. Still no word on the remaining veteran dramas, SEAL Team, NCIS: Los Angeles, or All Rise. United States of Al and B Positive were both even and will probably be renewed.

ABC saw the return of Big Sky last week after an almost two-month break. Viewers apparently didn't get the news, as it was down two tenths from its last new episode. Rebel held its premiere numbers. Home Economics lost a tenth. Pooch Perfect was even. The Rookie was down a tenth, but it is in no danger as third season shows are rarely cancelled. That need for a certain number of episodes may be the only thing saving A Million Little Things. It lost another ratings tenth and is now the lowest-rated drama on the network.

NBC had a quiet week. Law & Order: SVU, Manifest, This Is Us, and Kenan were all even. Law & Order: Organised Crime lost a tenth, Young Rock and Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist gained a tenth. Young Rock should be renewed. Zoey is likely done at the end of the season.

FOX saw the return of Prodigal Son and The Resident last week after a month off. The good news for Prodigal Son is its ratings were even with its last new episode. The bad news is, that's still low. The Resident was down a tenth, but will likely get another season. The Moodys lost another tenth and is likely done.

The CW wrapped Whose Line Is It, Anyway? and an extended season of Penn & Teller: Fool Us last week. Both shows are usually summer fare, and both managed respectable numbers during the fall and winter seasons. No reason to think they won't be renewed. Kung Fu held its premiere numbers, expect a renewal announcement for the show any day. Walker was steady as well, gaining 100,000 viewers. The Flash was even with the previous week, though it lost 100,000 viewers.

Upfronts are in a few weeks. ABC is the only network keeping mum about its renewals. The other networks have made announcements for most of their line-ups. How are your favorites doing?

From what I've watched so far, it hasn't. From what I've seen, it's based on a series of books by author CJ Box and aside from that, I don't know if that was part of the plot in the books. How much creative liberty they took from the books to the show, I couldn't tell you.
There was a lot of grumbling over the lack of First Nations representation in the cast as well as the network seemingly ignoring the threat of missing and murdered First Nations women in Indian Country. I'm not sure if it's all resolved now or not (I'm assuming not).
I don't watch the show, so I don't know what bearing any of this has on the actual plot.
What was the bad press in regards to Big Sky? You seem to be more aware of network and show news than I am. Or it's possible I heard about it and forgot as fast as it was reported on.
Young Sheldon will be renewed. It's the highest-rated comedy on CBS.
ABC is playing things close to the vest for some reason. The Goldbergs should be renewed based on its numbers. The Good Doctor is nowhere near the highs of its first season, but will probably get another year. Big Sky is ... 'eh, hard to say. Its numbers have been okay. Not great, but okay. The bigger issue is it has had some bad press and the network may not want to continue dealing with that.
FOX has always been an odd duck network. I think its execs do things sometimes just to show how they aren't predictable! LOL! The numbers for Prodigal Son have been sliding all season (and the whacked scheduling due to shortened seasons hasn't helped, but that's a problem every network show is dealing with this season.) Its renewal will likely be based more on what the network wants to do moving forward (more "reality", competition, and sports over scripted programming), and what its fall rookie shows are.
Kenan will probably get a second season, but it might be pushed off to the Spring as opposed to airing in the Fall. Clarice is done. A better match schedule-wise may have helped some, but we'll never know.
Kung Fu will be renewed. The CW only has four shows that manage to garner a million viewers and Kung Fu is one of them. If shows like Charmed and Dynasty can get renewed with barely 300,000 viewers, Kung Fu certainly will.
Still waiting to hear if the shows I like on ABC will be renewed (Goldbergs, the Good Doctor), and Big Sky and Young Sheldon will be on CBS. Based on what you said about Prodigal Son, that might not come back, same with Clarice. Do you think Kenan's show will survive with a second season? How about Kung Fu?
