ABC gave an early premiere to Abbott Elementary last week, setting the new comedy series behind a strong lead-in of Live In Front of a Studio Audience. The question is, will that audience remember the show by the time its second episode airs in January? Station 19 lost a couple of tenths with its first new episode in a couple of weeks. Grey's Anatomy was down a tenth. Queens returned after a week off. The good news was it picked up about four hundred thousand viewers from its last new episode. The less good news is that is still lower than what Superstar managed in the same slot. The Rookie and Big Sky were even with their last new episodes.

CBS wrapped CSI: Vegas last week. With no news regarding a back nine order or anything about a renewal, chances are the show will be quietly shuffled off. Ghosts picked up five hundred thousand viewers. The FBI shows returned after a few weeks off. FBI was down a tenth from its last new episode, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International were even. NCIS Hawai'i was down a tenth. Bull was even, but as the lowest-rated drama on the network, its chances for a season seven are slim at best.

Ratings Roundup is off for the holidays and will return in January. Happy Holidays!

A new article will post on Monday. :)
Hey Lady, hope you are doing ok in 2022 :D
No, I was just wondering. Because I just start following your articles recently. Thanks, though.
Networks are running mostly specials and reruns through the end of the year so there is very little if any, regular programming to report on. For example, if there had been a report for today, it would cover the week of December 12, however, there were only a few network shows running new episodes last week. The week of Christmas and the week of New Year's there aren't any.
Did you have a question about a specific show? If it ran last week, I can find the numbers for you.
The NFL season runs through most of the regular television season, so if we were to skip those weeks, there wouldn't be any ratings news until February. Football does skew things, especially if there is an overrun into primetime hours, but it's also a known variable.
Btw, how come there's no update on the ratings for the past two weeks?
I feel like having ratings for the weeks when football events are happening is kind of pointless. It's always skewed.
CSI: Vegas renewed for a second season
looks like csi vegas is safe.
