Ratings numbers for Thursday-Saturday were delayed.

CBS handed out more renewal slips last week. Veteran comedies The Neighborhood and Bob (Hearts) Abishola were renewed along with freshman comedy Ghosts. A repeat of NCIS: Hawai'i followed the primetime NFL playoff game. Unfortunately, that huge audience did not follow the show to its regular time slot. The NCIS spinoff only gained a ratings tenth and a few hundred thousand new viewers over the previous week. Chances are, however, the show will still be renewed. Magnum PI and Blue Bloods were even despite the poor lead-in of Undercover Boss. Both dramas should be renewed. Good Sam managed to pick up a couple hundred thousand viewers, but it's not nearly enough. The show will play out whatever episodes it has and that will be it.

ABC premiered Promised Land to abysmal numbers. Do not get attached, as the show is not long for the television world. The final episode of Queens was bumped for a repeat of Judge Steve Harvey. The network apparently wants to prolong its agony as long as possible. The Rookie returned after a week off, down a tenth though its viewer numbers were the same. The show is one of the lowest-rated dramas on the network, however, with the failure of Queens and Promised Land, it could get another season. Abbott Elementary was even. Judge Steve Harvey was down a tenth.

NBC ran a slate of mostly reruns last week. This Is Us appears to have settled for its last few episodes. It was even with last week's numbers. American Auto was even and will probably be renewed. New Amsterdam managed to pick up a tenth. Back-to-back episodes of Kenan along with Grand Crew continued to vie for worst comedy honors. Chances are at least one, and probably both shows are done. Ordinary Joe wrapped its season, and the series, last week, even with the previous week.

FOX wrapped Our Kind Of People last week. Don't expect a second season. The Cleaning Lady returned after a week off with even numbers. It should be renewed. 9-1-1 Lone Star gained a tenth after a week off and is in no danger. Call Me Kat continued to drown under the weight of its poor lead-in Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer. Its chances for renewal are fading as a result. Pivoting lost another ratings tenth and one hundred thousand viewers it couldn't afford. It's probably done once the network burns off the remaining episodes.

The CW renewed Penn & Teller: Fool Us for a ninth season. World's Funniest Animals and Masters of Illusion will also get another season. Grant Gustin is about to sign a new contract that will give The Flash a ninth season, so its renewal is assured. March premiered to low numbers even by CW standards. Nancy Drew wrapped its third season down two hundred thousand viewers. Superman & Lois lost a couple hundred thousand viewers but still managed to hold onto the top ratings spot. Walker also lost one hundred thousand viewers but is in no danger.

Great news that ghosts was renewed.  The original British series is pretty good if you get the UK humor.
