Ten years in the future, Gotham is preparing for the reopening of Wayne Tower and the return of Bruce Wayne to the city. However, four cases of C-4 go missing, Edward escapes from Arkham, Oswald is released from Blackgate, and Jim considers retiring as police commissioner. Bruce travels to a distant city via a freighter, and sends a letter to Alfred saying that he'll return when he can protect the people that need him. He then goes into the mountains. Ten Years Later Jim and Harvey meet with Mayor James and tell him that someone is attacking the gangs downtown. My commiserations extend to Carmen Bicondova. Having appeared in every episode of Gotham until the finale. I understand Lili Simmons is stunningly beautiful and an excellent choice in casting to play the adult Selena Kyle but at the same time I'm sure Carmen will be reminded of it and have an a bitter taste left behind, in ten years time. I hope Carmen is picked up in whatever acting pursuits she wishes, it would be a shame to see her disappear.
A very fine end to a very fine show. I for one am satisfied. Now, Fox should make Batman and have all the same main characters, but with of course, Batman.

Why is this child actor being kept on to play the full grown Batman? He needs special lift shoes for every scene he's stranding next to someone. He was 12 yrs old and appropriate for the part when the series first started in 2014. Pass the baton for Gods sake!
