Yes, instead of a season 4 we will be getting a movie in 2026.  All of the scripts for season 4 were finished, but during the strikes, Disney/Lucasfilm decided to change direction.  Basically, they don't want to see viewer numbers dwindle with a last season and have it all end when they could instead crank out movies and generate revenue as a film franchise.  Like it or not, it will probably work, too.

Will there be a season 4? I've seen him co-starring in 2 new movies coming out, animated and Gladiator 2.

I had to get Disney+ just so I could watch season 3 since it's not out on DVD yet. But this left me confused with lots of questions. I hope season 4 comes soon and makes more sense.

It was an well done episode for a finale.

I hoped that the little green one finaly will start to talk, but unfortunately it didn't happened.

Well, maybe in the next chapter.

Not sure how you could possibly think that. Filoni's film is years away still with plenty more Mando in between now and then.

Epic finale to the season, loved it.

Another very strong season overall. I was getting tired from all the chatter on youtube, you just can't judge individual episodes when it's clear every one is a building block towards something bigger. They delivered big time.

Honestly, so many people got their hopes up for some good cameo(s). It's not a necessary thing just because it's a finale lol

I loved the finale- many great action sequences/battles. Can't wait to see where we go in the next season*! (But first- Ahsoka!)

*As noted in one of the previous comments, season 4 has been mentioned as having been written, but hasn't yet officially been renewed for season 4.
