Hmm. Just finished watching this. I'm guessing it has to take place after Ahsoka was in Mandalorian and Boba Fett with Luke. And if there is a season 2 (it is still listed as a current show) they would be taking another star whale back home. Obviously Ezra told the republic about Thrawn's return with an imperial star ship & lots of troopers. Just wonder what they will do about that since I don't recall any mention of Thrawn in any of the other series. And we don't know why Baylan wanted to be stranded on a a devastated world by himself, what for? Disappointing that they used my favorite Doctor as the voice for the robot but so distorted that you can't even tell it's him. Will be watching and hoping for a season 2.
"From a certain point of view"
;)
just basing this on all of the other single season stories out of Disney+ so far, i think there's little chance of a season 2 of Ahsoka (as this stand alone series, just finished). * (and if he wasn't dead, a neat spinoff could've been about Baylan & Shin - where they are now and also their origin story).
I feel that it's far more likely that it'll either be the prequel to Filoni's upcoming stand alone feature film, or it will segue into the next set of characters, up for their own TV series.
I want to know more... time to divedown that utube rabbithole & checkout a cpl of good StarWars chans for the episode (&season) breakdown.

There has to be a season 2. Or at least a movie that fixes the loose ends.
Finale was weird, kinda good i guess.
Opens up the possibility for season 2. We can only hope.
Finale..
Doesn't the episode title sound like Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe?
Wack.
