Yeah, I'll tune in for (as yet unannounced, or I may be wrong) Season 2 as I love the Alien franchise and live in eternal hope.
But another big issue in today's world is the massive gaps between TV show seasons.
I mean, we may be into 2027 before we see any more of this show...in fact I'd be shocked if that were not at least the case.

It's nonsnese but the writers were like - "we need these things to happen to progress the story".  It's shoddy in the extreme.
And lazy.
Allegedly smart people doing absudly stupid things to progress the story is never a good look...dreadful stuff.

It's a shame really as the atmosphere, visuals, audio etc. are excellent.,
But bad writing can take down the best of shows (I'm looking at you, GoT).

You are spot on. I think the writing is taking a turn for better. Last episode rocked.

So still loving it. In this episode there were a couple of "suspension of disbelief" breakers. I tried, I really did. But just couldn't overlook.
