Mackenzie Phillips

Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Mackenzie Phillips began her career in the daytime soap Guiding Light in 1996, soon followed by the films Go Ask Alice and her breakout role in American Graffiti. It was during her third season on the hit sitcom One Day at a Time that her personal life began to affect her career, and she was dropped from the cast. As a survivor of drug abuse, and alleged survivor of incest, she has since resumed her career.
