Glenn Shadix

William G. "Glenn Shadix" Scott was born April 1952 in Bessemer, Alabama. He attended Birmingham-Southern College for two years. He lived in New York City prior to moving to Hollywood in the late 1970s. He made his film debut appearance in the poorly received remake of The Postman Always Rings Twice before he got his breakthrough film role in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. He played the part of Otho, the pretentious interior designer who dabbled in the paranormal. On September 7, 2010, Glenn accidentally fell at his condominium in Birmingham, Alabama, and died of blunt trauma to his head. He had already mobility problems and was wheelchair-bound. He's survived by his mother, sister and brother-in-law.
