Born in Abilene, Texas, Carole Cook graduated Baylor University in 1945 and became a critically acclaimed veteran of stage, film and television. While performing in New York in a stage production of Annie Get Your Gun, she caught the attention of Lucille Ball who requested her comedic talents for the production company Desilu Studios. Early credits begin in 1960 with episodes of U.S. Marshal, and in 1963 The Lucy Show, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis and Palm Springs Weekend.
Carole Cook died of heart failure at the age of 98.
