I am coming here to ask that this site start to police its editors. I had been a long time editor at TVRage and this site is a miasma of false information and inconsistencies. I'm not going to go into a long winded expose but I will cite two glaring examples among many hundreds. Firstly, you list "Orange is the New Black" without question, yet refuse to acknowledge the last four seasons of "Dreamworks Dragons". This is simply ridiculous. Secondly, your editors must be on some quota recognition basis. I say this because they seem to be editing in episode titles that they have no factual basis for into ongoing series. I do a series check to see what I want to watch weekly the list of which is recorded in my laptop. Each and every week I do this check nearly every upcoming episode title has been changed. They are rarely correct until after the episode has actually aired. This affects many sites that link to your lists thinking you have accurate information. Your failure to have accurate information is an embarrassment and renders your site useless to any even casual videophile. For a while I thought this site would grow up and be a good replacement for the now deceased TVRage. Sadly you have proven me wrong as this site spirals downward into disinformation.

Feel free to contribute with true and consistent information. Or you can build your own TVsomething.

Explore a bit more throughout our data policy and database and you will have your answers, but I fear you did not pay any attention at all nor you will..... So I am not entirely sure whether you are going to be a very reliable editor for us either. :)

The site doesn't have editors like TVRage did, so it would be impossible to police them.

TVMaze is an open-edit site, so anyone who wishes to contribute can. Essentially, all contributors are "editors." if a contribution is in error, anyone who wishes to can correct the error. After a certain amount of edits, an entry is "locked" against further edits. You can then use this thread to request changes.

You might have "editor" and "moderator" mixed up. At TVRage, show editors were just people who were moderators for that particular show. There were also general moderators, who moderated subs for shows that didn't have editors (the vast majority).

TVMaze has no moderators or interest in a moderation system. An "editor" is anyone who edits an entry. In other words, a contributor.

You need a moderation system to police editors, and that's not what TVMaze has or wants.

I'd be curious to know what programs are consistently incorrect for episode titles, as the programs I watch each week do not have this issue. What I watch is US main network shows like NCIS, Supernatural etc. Are you mostly watching animation where the episodes may not have pre-published titles? Is it mostly streaming shows where the titles have been known to change from the time initial publicity is done to when they actually are available? With more information someone might be able to at least find out why this is happening.

Is the above listing an actual series or just a one-off episode, Futon Critic have a press release from the Travel Channel calling it a special http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2017/02/22/adventurer-josh-gates-explores-the-wild-side-of-dubai-from-sunset-to-sunrise-on-an-all-new-special-josh-gates-after-dark-6113/20170222travel01/

Seems like a one-off to me too after reading several articles, so it is deleted until proven otherwise.
