As for the second question:
It doesn't only show American Networks; if you scroll down, you'll see all the other countries (TVMaze simply decided to show United States and United Kingdom are first as they're the most popular).
Good to know. Although not very obvious.
I'd prefer it to make it easy for me to select the correct network. If that's what it takes, sure.
