Something has gone strange with the current season of Love Island, where episode titles are counting up with duplicated numbers, restarting from 39 over again on July 18th. See http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/11363/love-island/episodes. Can an admin look at who is making those edits and help them use the site properly, by raising data anomalies/questions here before making edits that create confusion?

I believe this situation occurred because there is an issue with TVMaze episode numbering matching that on iTV. I'm guessing perhaps because iTV are not counting the Weekly Hotlist episodes in their numbering at https://www.itv.com/hub/love-island/2a3697 (though have not confirmed). The season is scheduled to end July 30th, so I would vote for just continuing the pattern from earlier in the season and including the Weekly Hotlist where it is currently.

After a quick look, I can't find anything on this after the initial 2016 announcements. Anyone know anything more on this MTV version? DOA or still in developmental limbo?

Considering that THR's article from February mentioned it as something that still being developed, I'd say it's the latter.

Nice catch. I looked through 2 pages but nothing new ... I should probably use a time filter. So, 3 WotW shows are currently in various stages of development ... should be interesting to see who does the best adaption ... BBC, Canal+ or MTV.
