Hello,

I tried adding season 3 Episode 3 to "to tell the Truth" https://www.tvmaze.com/shows/16041/to-tell-the-truth

However, it said "This entry already existed in the past, so it can only be re-created by a Trusted Contributor or higher."

I'm kinda new to this but wouldn't it have been easier and quicker to just ask for the show to be deleted as a duplicate? Deleting all the epsiodes, pictures, etc one by one just eats up time and prevents the DeleteMaster from doing a quick verification before hitting the final delete button. Just my thoughts, ymmv.

In looking for these episodes to 'acquire' it seems many references to them are as a new, rebooted series and not a continuation of the original series. imdb.com, kidscreen.com among others has it a a new series. thetvdb.com calls them, or some of them at least, as specials. While the wording at YouTube isn't clear, it can be taken to mean that this was a new series. I'm not sure this was a duplicate series. ymmv.

For the series The Outsider (http://www.tvmaze.com/shows/3848/the-outsider/), the episode "A Bowl of Cherries" is listed twice, as episodes 17 and 18. One of them should be deleted and the remaining episodes renumbered, bring the total number of episodes from 27 to 26.

The promo definitely calling it "A new Monster High series". Also, the YouTube (where the show is being released) lists the episodes as S1E#. According to policy those two facts does not allow to consider this as a continuation of the original Monster High series. The episodes rather should be deleted from the original series.

seems to be a difficult choice, but if the promo says it is a new series and not a new season, i would also say we have to list it as a new show.

I hadn't watched the promo, good tip for the future as it obviously has applicable info, and ya, they twice call it a new series ... I wanna change my "I'm not sure..." into a "I'm pretty sure..." The Monster High wiki also lists it as a separate series.

I should be a better expert on this as my granddaughter has a gazillion and one things with Monster High on it ... including a Barbie House taken over by them with Barbie turned into a kinda Marilyn Munster.

Don't type when your tired ... I was trying to say, I no longer am unsure, I think the two Monster High series are indeed two separate series.

I don't know where to post this, because it's not really an "edit request": please, follow this rule:

episodes that start airing after midnight but before 5:00 are considered part of the previous day

Somebody just edited a lot of anime that airs between 0:00 and 5:00 the wrong way and now I have to correct it.

I think you're misunderstanding it;

Take Angolmois: Genkou Kassenki for example

From the website: 7月10日より毎週火曜24：30～

Based on our policy, this means we enter it as 07/10 @ 00:30 (as 24:30 can't be entered)

This will make it so that it displays correctly.

Looking further at the edits, it appears this was the only show which hadn't been corrected properly.
