Not sure about this one ... I Love You, America has many sources talking about a second, 11 episode season starting last week but, Hulu is still counting it as season 1 on their site, at least for now. I changed episodes 11-13 to season 2 episodes 1-3 and then discovered the issue ... before changing it back, just wanted to check what others thought ... is it still part of season 1 or did a second season begin last week? References below. I could not find the April 2018 press release on the Hulu site.

Their official fb page are speaking of season 2 too. I would say season 2 is the best bet to go for.

The people would be watching the show on Hulu, since it's the only place to watch it, so they would expect the same episode numeration as Hulu provides, no?
I'd say we should have it exactly as the streaming source have it, as a single season. Someone already reverted the numeration, so let it stay like this.

It depends. If Hulu's press release says it is a new season, we should list it as S02... if someone has access to it that is.

New episodes belong to season 1, and on the top it says "New Episodes Premiere Thursday, September 6," not the "New Season."

I don't mind about it and I'm perfectly fine with it being listed as S01. All I'm saying if their press release says S02 (which I and I assume you do not have access to), we have to list it as S02, however if that press release says S01, it is absolutely S01 for sure :)

No, I do not have access, unfortunately. However, futon have two press releases from hulu, considering the renewal of the series, and none of the releases mentions a new season, only "new episodes". The second one says "this season will return..."
I'm not a big fan of futon, but I don't believe that they would mangle the contents of the press releases for some reason.
