As for parentheses - maybe. Here is at your discretion. But to separate episodes coming out in a row and having the same name into parts is the norm for the site, isn’t it? At the very least, I very often saw these Part 1, Part 2 ...
In any case, the full names of the three episodes I have provided you. Act in accordance with your policy or as you want. I will not change anything.

The Policy says that on-screen tops everything, so we should act accordingly to this :)

Yes, when they are part of the official name.

Suffixes that are not part of the original episode title are strictly forbidden. Examples of that are "(Part 1)", "(Pilot)" or "(a.k.a. Previous Working Title)".

I already did. Since the on-screen title is barely usable, the next best source (per policy) would be the official episode guide.

no no, we add the part 1, part 2 to it of course :)

Nikquest wrote 5 years ago: 1

You can even without "part 1", but simply after each name (1), (2), (3).

According to what, may I ask? Policy explicitly forbids that.

Episodes already have official names, with official part numbering etc. Could you explain to me, why we need to use made up suffixes, and which part of the policy allow this?

we have to find a middle way here and I think using the onscreen plus marking it with part 1, part 2 is the most logical thing to do :)

it seems there are several official names, then the policy states that on-screen tops all, but this is such a minor issue, I do not mind either way, just do not want an edit war :)

Note: the old thread was closed down due to its size.

In the Law and Order : Special Victims Unit , Season 21 Episode 13 story "Redemption In Her Corner" , the actor Daniel Zacapa is credited as playing a character called "Luis Nunez"  . This is incorrect, the character's name is "Santos Morales"   Zacapa did play a character called "Luis Nunez" in the Season 16 episode called "Padre Sandunguero"

No. The most logical thing to do is to use that official source which offers a unique name for each episode.

On-screen card does not includes any "part 1" or (1) suffixes, and doesn't make any other distinction between episodes. Adding such prefixes manually is explicitly forbidden by policy. Therefore on-screen names in this case are not usable, so the next logical step would be to look at the next best source. Which would be either futon http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/50-states-of-fright/listings/, or the listing in Quibi app (see the screenshot above).

I am fine with either way :)

As a head contributor you shouldn't be fine with going against the policy or encouraging users to violate it :P

Not true sir, it's press release ahead of episode guides :)

Yes, in general, if you could find one. In this particular case there's no episodic press releases for this show, so the next best source is episode guide.

Ha! True.

@david could you look at this, please? It seems that character search is limited to 10 results.

Could you create a separate thread for bug reports? In here they will inevitably slip off my radar.
