However, three season 3 episodes are listed here, and according to both ABC and Science, they do not exist as there is no season 3.

Hmm, you can download those season 3 episodes tho, so they must have been shown somewhere, that is weird. Also tvguide is listing them too.

To prevent any further posts on this - the listed 'Qualifier Chaos' episode is not the first episode of a possible new third season, but more likely to be 'The Gears Awaken' opening episode from Season 2 which hasn't been broadcasted yet.
This would mean it is a premiere showing if it has not been broadcasted before and what about the second episode that is released by the scene?
Guess we need someone who watched those 2 "new" episodes and is familiar with the old episodes too.

That's because Science Channel allegedly airing season 3 now, Wednesdays 9:00 PM starting October 25. If you check SC schedule you could see new episodes between the re-airs.
I'm not following the series, so don't know for sure, are those episodes new or discovery-style "new". But they definitely worth checking.

I believe they ment "hasn't been broadcasted as a rerun on the science channel yet". That's the title of the season 2 premiere that we have listed :)

Exactly. :)
The official sources (not only the sites, but also their social medias such as twitter, yt, fb, ig, etc) all talk about the "re-airing" / "replays" (their choice of words) on Science. Despite being actively maintained, none of them mentions the existance of a S03, the closest they come are posts mentioning the hopes there will be a season 3 some day (which seems unlikely for now, also note that Science has only "licensed the off-network cable rights" to reair the two old seasons).
Also, comments from those who have watched the "S03" scene releases JuanArango is referring to says that they are not new episodes, but reruns of season 1 and 2, possibly recut or renamed.
