Also, please create episode Episode 4 for Bodyguard (airdate 9 September 2018, time TBD - source). Maybe Episodes 5 and 6 can already be created, even without airdate, so I can update them myself without having to ask?

Also, I can't see where the problem lies with Special Counsel. You are correct the character, as well as the actor have a nine count but the Characters page is showing just 8 ... no idea why.
And there's a ... "thing" with Special Counsel
He's listed in the 9 episodes he appers in, but in the "Characters" page, it's written "8 appearances". When you go on his character page, the 9 are listed... don't know where that comes from
Page #1 below shows 8 appearances while #2 & #3 show 9 ... I can't figure out where the discrepancy lies. Any ideas? Anyone?

Will flip it back. First few hits on a Google search showed 8 episodes. Did ITV cancel the show midway through the season? Are the next 4 episodes going to be part of season 2?

Possibly. There's no word out yet.
UPD. Looks like ITV either dropped or postponed it. The series continues it's run on BritBox. Premiere date was the same. Since BritBox is partially owned by ITV, and according to production company the series was produced for both ITV and BritBox, I think it's logical to change the show's network and add already available episodes 5 and 6.
