Since when are network sites 100% accurate? We override them all the time.

Thanks for tracking down a more official source to confirm the number. Still wonder what/how ITV handled this? Did they merge the episodes and have 4 double sized episodes? Are they playing fast 'n loose with the word "episode"? Is math not a strong suit? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm really confused about this now. The Official Press Pack from ITV clearly shows 4 episodes in total. It even says "Last in Series" in the episode 4 listing. So, the question is, wtf? I've not watched the series, so cannot compare if ITV and Britbox did anything different with each episode.

It is also worth pointing out that there are no episodes after episode 4 available on any of those dodgy torrent sites.

I can not confirm but, it is possible they haven't shown up yet because sites were not listing anything past episode 4. If they do not know it exists, they won't try to obtain and post a HD/Web/Web-DL copy. Once it circulates around there are more episodes, they _should_ become available shortly thereafter.

Probably ITV decided to air it in two series, who knows? According to press release above, the show "is formatted as four stories, each unfolding and resolving over two episodes," so it could be easily split in half, two stories per series.

Anyways, both BritBox press release, and production company description refers to 8x60' episodes.

I was going to change it, but decided to ask about it first. It's 9:35pm EST on August 30th and all 8 episodes of Jack Ryan are already available to watch, despite Amazon saying the 31st (on this photo). Shouldn't we change them to August 30th then?

In short words: according to policy global Web Channel shows should have their airdate set to the exact date that's announced for them.
