Oliver and the team attempt to work for the SCPD following their procedure, but find them overly restrictive compared to what they're accustomed to. In the future, William and Mia work together to find a way to listen to the audio cassette.

At the station, Sgt. Bixley lectures the team and other new recruits on how becoming part of the police is a great responsibility. He says that they have rules and protocols, and the use of excessive force will not be tolerated. The team demonstrate their skills in hand-to-hand, gunmanship, and computers. In a way I'm glad next season will be its last. It is all over the place like before, but not in the good way it used to be, and it's just not anywhere near as good as it once was.
